Jessica Palacios

Born in 1985 in Cusco, Peru, Jessica grew up in a city rich with the legacy of Inca archaeology and Spanish colonial architecture. This vibrant cultural environment sparked her early passion for art, which began at the age of 8 when she started sketching the historic Spanish architecture around her. She further nurtured her talent by taking additional lessons from her school art teacher to refine her techniques. During her secondary school years, Jessica's natural artistic ability became evident as she won several awards, and her work was frequently chosen for display in the school’s offices.

In 2004, Jessica enrolled at the Escuela Nacional Superior Autónoma de Bellas Artes, earning a partial scholarship. To cover the remaining costs of her education, she worked evenings at a restaurant in Lima and spent her free time creating stunning artworks that she sold at local markets. In 2009, she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Visual Arts (Artes Plásticas Visuales). Before completing her studies, one of her professors helped her gain recognition from the Museum of Contemporary Art (MAC), which led to her first opportunity to display her work in their gallery. This milestone marked the beginning of her career, and she has since exhibited her art in prestigious galleries across the globe, including in Peru, France, Spain, and the United States.

Jessica’s art continues to reflect the rich cultural influences of her youth, while her talent has evolved, allowing her to create vibrant and beautiful masterpieces that resonate with audiences worldwide.
