This wine is a tribute to our winemaker’s grandmother, Violet Rose Hackett. A dry rosé featuring yummy flavors of bright strawberry, cherry and watermelon. An old vine field blend of four different varietals from Burnett Vineyard. As “Ma” would say, “Sláinte!”
The 2018 Violet Rosé is a dry rosé made in the very south of France style, Bandol style if you will. The wine is an old vine field blend featuring yummy flavors of strawberry and raspberry creamsicles and ripe cherries. Medium bodied wine that offers dry fulfilling flavors while remaining bright on the palate.
An old vine field blend of Grenache, Zinfandel, Cinsault and Carignane
Saignee after 8 hours cold soaking. Ten week cold fermentation in stainless steel tanks, then aged for 14 months in neutral French oak barrels.
