2016 Violet Rose Rose Dry Creek Valley

GOLD MEDAL - 2018 SF Chronicle Wine Competition

This wine is a tribute to our winemaker’s grandmother, Violet Rose Hackett. A dry rosé featuring yummy flavors of pink grapefruit, cherry and hints of raspberry. An old vine field blend of four different varietals from Burnett Vineyard. As “Ma” would say, “Sláinte!”

Tasting Notes

The 2016 Violet Rosé is a dry rosé made in the very south of France style, Bandol style if you will. The wine is an old vine field blend featuring yummy flavors of strawberry and raspberry creamsicles and ripe cherries. Medium bodied the wine offers dry fulfilling flavors while remaining bright on the palate
